Samuel L. Jackson is back in the Studio for Incredibles 2

Samuel L. Jackson is back to work recording his part for The Incredibles 2, Brad Bird’s sequel to the Pixar superhero movie. Now, we just have one question: “Where’s my super-suit?!”

The actor posted an image from the recording booth to Instagram, writing, “It’s about to go down… First recording session for…. INCREDIBLES 2!!!!”

Frozone (Lucius, by day) is the scene-stealing, ice-wielding superhero and longtime friend of Mr. Incredible (voiced by Craig T. Nelson) and Elastigirl (voiced by Holly Hunter). He leaped out of retirement and into action when Syndrome attacked his city in one of the most memorable moments from the 2004 film.

“Every time I run into Brad he always tells me Frozone is part of what’s going on [in the sequel], so I have to believe that,” Jackson told Digital Spy in an interview back in 2014, shortly after Pixar officially announced the film. “I guess they could be the Incredibles without Frozone, but I think Frozone would be a wonderful addition to what’s already there.”

The Incredibles 2 will open in theaters on June 15, 2018.
