New Poster for King Arthur: Legend of the Sword

KING ARTHUR: LEGEND OF THE SWORD stars Charlie Hunnam as the future king, Arthur. The rest of the cast includes Astrid Berges-Frisbey, Djimon Hounsou, Aiden Gillen, Jude Law and Eric Bana.

Here’s the official synopsis: When the child Arthur’s father is murdered, Vortigern (Law), Arthur’s uncle, seizes the crown. Robbed of his birthright and with no idea who he truly is, Arthur comes up the hard way in the back alleys of the city. But once he pulls the sword from the stone, his life is turned upside down and he is forced to acknowledge his true legacy…..whether he likes it or not.

Directed by Guy Ritchie, the film is an iconoclastic take on the classic mythical tale that looks at Arthur’s journey from the streets to the throne. Screenplay is written by Joby Harold, along with Ritchie and Lionel Wigram.

With Ritchie at the helm, there’ll be plenty of action in this movie. KING ARTHUR: LEGEND OF THE SWORD will be in theaters in 2D and 3D on May 12. Check out the poster below
